The last auditions for American Idol were broadcasted this week from Denver. The one person who stuck out in my mind was Bikini Boy. The judges just walked out on him as he was the last contestant. His appearance and choice of song -- Achy Breaky Heart - were a bad combination. Poor boy was still standing there after the judges had left for Hollywood.
More Idol gossip -- Ellen DeGeneres starts appearing on the shows from Hollywood next week. They were filmed last month and on the first day, Simon was late and rumor has it Ellen was fuming. Can't wait to see how this plays out.
One of the 24 finalist may be removed -- a young man who auditioned in Orlando made it to the top 24 but his father became too excited and starting telling everyone he knew. This breaks the agreements between Idol and the contestants so we have to wait and see what happens.
Remember the young girl who is now on her 3rd trip to Hollywood. The first time, he father passed away and she had to pull out of the competition. The second year she received a ticket and couldn't make it to Hollywood auditions. This year she again made it to Hollywood but her mother has gone missing. She is still in Hollywood as she thought her mother may pull the disappearance act as she has a drug related background. I wish the young lady good luck and peace of mind to continue on her quest.
