Over the years there have been many young people trying out to become the next American Idol. With the thousands upon thousands of people that think they sing well enough to become the next American Idol, there are a few that really over do it.
One contestant Alexis Cohen AKA the glitter girl tried out twice to get that golden ticket. Both times she was passed over; little did anyone know that last year would be her last try as she was killed. This year a stand out one would be Lamar Royal, this man could not understand the word no. He had to be taken out of the room by security, and continued his vocal assault as he was walking away. Let’s not forget “Pants on the Ground”, General Larry Platt. Although much too old to be a true contestant on American Idol, he did leave America with a new song.
It really is crazy watching some of the contestants trying to sing, as they really can not. Better is hearing them plead with the judges about how they really can sing they are just nervous. While most of us are not music critics I think we all know bad when we hear it.
So far during this year's American Idol auditions, the two that stand out the most and have gotten the most attention is Lamar Royal with his not understanding no, and General Larry Platt with his hit song “Pants On The Ground.” American Idol just wouldn’t be the same with out the crazies auditioning for Randy, Simon and Kara.
