Many remember Paula Abdul from her songs and videos in the 80s. Then, because of personal problems, as well as health concerns, she stepped out of the limelight until "American Idol" came to America. There, she was known as the kind judge, who was more or less empathetic with the contestants. However, she left the show in August 2009 when she didn't get the payment she thought she deserved. So, what is she doing now?
There are many things Paula could be doing, but one in the forefront is a possible talk show. She looks up to Oprah and what has been done for women in the talk show area. With Oprah leaving, could Paula slide into her spot? She feels she would fit the bill well and have a lot of fun in the process. However, that won't happen until 2011.
She has other things to keep her busy, like her jewelry and her dance videos. In September, she was the host of a special on VH1 called "Divas." There are plenty of things she could do, like judge another dance show such as "Dancing With the Stars" or "So You Think You Can Dance." After all, she is a choreographer and a dancer. Only time will tell. There is a possibility that she may be a judge on the "X Factor," the British hit, if and when it comes to America. It's hard to say what will turn up for Miss Abdul. She has the talent to do whatever she wants.
