There are few celebrities who really care about their fans and others who are less fortunate or in the service of their country. Bo Bice has done so very much volunteer work that he won a presidential medal for his contributions. Early this morning he sang his new song "Long Long Road" on the MDA telethon -- last year he was also on and sang "Sinner in a Sin". He also donated items both years for the MDA auction. He has helped cheer the troops overseas twice so far and also helped in activities for the Katrina victims. He has auctioned off some of his instruments and also special articles of clothing that he wore on American Idol to help different charities. He has done different activities both nationwide and in small towns to help others. One of his fans was in the hospital in ICU. Bo was worried about her and called the hospital. He found out she was unconsious but asked the nurse to put the phone by her ear just so he could talk to her. He has called back several times since then and asked everyone to pray for her. She is now out of ICU. His new CD should be out before Christmas and his fans are jumping for joy. This man is more than just a very talented musician and performer--he is a humanitarian as well.
