We met him in the fourth season of American Idol, but who is this long hair rocker? He was born Harold Elwin "Bo" Bice, Jr., on November 1, 1975, as the only child of Nancy and Harold Elwin Bice.
His mother sang gospel and his father played the guitar. His parents broke up when he was young and Bo stayed with his mother who remarried some years later. The family moved around a lot when he was growing up, yet he still managed to win a local school competition at the age of 13. He grew up as a teenager in England, thanks to his father,s job, where he was able to put together his first band called Spinning Jenny. Bo also helped put together the band SugarMoney, and they stayed together until the end of 2006. He has also performed for our troops in both Kuwait and Afghanistan with plans to make a return visit. Bo spent a lot of time in the hospital during the "Real Thing" tour in 2005, but he has managed to overcome his hurdles. His fans love him. Bo believes in giving back, and his involvement with "CMT Camp Nashville" is a good example.
Billed as the first country fantasy camp, he worked with other artists to coach up and coming performers. Even though he has worked with such legends as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Mickey Mouse, he is still a humble and modest person. Bo married his wife Caroline Fisher in July of 2005 in Helena, Alabama, and are the proud parents of Aidan and Caleb.
