After attending the big opening of Idols Unite at the Disney American Idol Experience in Florida, Bo Bice is excited to be back on the road again. Bice has just announced the upcoming Acoustics Tour, that will start in Sellersville, Pennsylvania on the 27th of February and finish up in Warsaw, Indiana on the 15th of March. Bice’s fans will partake in a closely acquainted atmosphere of southern rock charm.
Bice will be introducing new music to his fans as well, as two very special up and coming artists who will be appearing on select dates: Patrick Mitchell and Kelleigh Bannen. Patrick is the lead singer of one of Nashville’s hottest new bands, Black Honey. Kelleigh released a debut album entitled Radio Skies in 2008. Both of these artists are from Nashville, which is Bice's home town.
Bo Bice was runner up in season four of American Idol. Since then, he has released two albums. The first album, The Real Thing, was released in 2005. It was more of a commercial post Idol production. His second album, See The Light, was released in October of 2007 under his own label. It reflects a more intimate side of the artist, with more country southern rock sounds. He performs songs from both of these albums during his shows.
Along with this new tour, Bice is also working on a new live CD compiled of recent tours, which will hopefully come out at the end of this year.
