Bo Bice launched himself into the music industry during the fourth season of American Idol. He’s the first runner up. Bo was born in Helena, Alabama. He’s a gruff tenor with an everyday country boy charm. On the American Idol tour, his style is pop idol. After the tour pop, rock and post-grunge styles emerge from Bo’s 2005 album “The Real Thing.” On the album, he sings alternative-rock songs, southern rock songs, and ballads. Bo Bice writes his own songs for this most part. But he didn’t write the songs on this album.
On October 23, 2008 Bo Bice released his second album called “See the Light” under his own label. Bo is working with Wal-Mart to distribute his new CD. He’s also responsible for the production and recording. On the “See the Light” CD, Bo is able to play different instruments and write on every song. You’ll hear the real Bo on this CD. His style is southern rock, southern soul, and honest, emotional ballads.
Classic Rock N’ Roll is the foundation for many styles. Bo Bice applies his southern roots to Rock N’ Roll. He’s created genuine Bo Bice Rock N’ Roll songs on his newest album. Bo sang Rock N’ Roll with his band before he was on American Idol. He’s been making a living with his music for twelve years. With all the disappointments and challenges he has faced, he can finally “See the Light.”
